Primates

Eye to eye with our closest relatives

To get close to primates the closest relatives of human beings is always a unique and unforgettable moment.

Staying for a while with Mountain Gorillas (“Group Thirteen”, Rwanda) or the "Habinyanja Group" (Uganda) is a unique privilege.

Both groups are habituated to the presence of people. I am privileged to stay for one hour with them in their

natural habitat, to be close to them and observe a part of their daily life and capture some pictures with my camera.

We all know chimpanzees of zoos and TV series. But to meet them close in the wild is a spectacular and fascinating moment.

Not less interesting is to observe the behaviour of all species of monkeys all around the world.
